Philippine Consul General to Agana, Hon. Bayani V. Mangibin, called on Cong. Madeleine Z. Bordallo, Guam's Delegate to the US Congress, on 21 February 2012 at the Congresswoman's District Office in Agana, Guam.

 

During his call, Consul General Mangibin expressed sincere appreciation for Cong. Bordallo's support for initiatives in the US Congress that benefit Filipinos, including her co-sponsorship of the SAVE Act and her plans to file a bill that will allow Medicare patients on Guam to avail of medical services in the Philippines.

 

Cong. Bordallo warmly welcomed the Consul General, who assumed his new post last week, and emphasized that Filipinos contribute a lot to the island and are, in fact, "model citizens" on Guam.END
